Who are we? Somervell is a Christian Church based on the worship of God and the preaching of the message of God’s son Jesus Christ. The Church has been serving the Remuera Community for over 100 years. Today, we have an active congregation of over 160 people including 35 children. Visitors and newcomers are most welcome. The current modern Church was opened in 2000. It is an award winning Warren and Mahoney design. The building is on three levels, and contains the Church auditorium, a large sound contained hall, meeting rooms, offices, Uplands Kindergarten and an Opportunity Shop.
