Special Events

Somervell provides an excellent venue for the celebration of your wedding.

The hall is also available for wedding receptions. The minister is

available to take wedding services and help you design a service to suit your

needs. Please contact the Church office.

Somervell welcomes the baptism of children and adults. A baptism is a

very special event in the life of a person and in the life of the whole Church.

It is the way that we welcome new Christians into our community and offer

our commitment to support them in friendship and faith. To arrange a baptism

for you or for your child please contact the Church office.

Somervell is available to assist any family who wishes to have their family

member’s funeral service conducted by a Christian minister.

Somervell’s modern venue with foyer and hall situated next to the auditorium

make Somervell an excellent venue for both the ceremony and refreshments

following the service. The minister is able to help design the service and offers

care and support to the bereaved family prior to and in the weeks following

the service if required.
