"It is Complicated" Conversations at Somervell
Somervell is inviting people who either have found themselves discouraged, and/or hurt by the church, people going through deconstruction of their faith, or people who are just curious about a different kind of Christianity. This is not another conference, but a space for conversation of people who when asked about their relationship with church or faith status, their response is “It is complicated”.
We will have no stage. No VIP speakers. Just human beings having “it is complicated” conversations.
We’ll curate four weeks of creative space, deep dialogue, and shared meal that spark real connection. The goal of this creative space isn’t more content, but activation – ideas that move from imagination to impact.
So please join us for four weeks every Thursday evenings ( 6:30pm start with a meal – 7pm-8pm conversation) November 27th, December 4th,11th and 18th
Blue Christmas Service
Join us at our worship service that provides a comforting and supportive space for people who are struggling with grief, loss, or sadness during the Christmas season.
It is a time for remembrance and hope, acknowledging that the holidays can be a difficult time for many.
All are Welcome.
Christmas Nativity Service
Hear and see the Christmas story, as told by the youth - and their assistants - from Somervell Presbyterian Church
